The movement of planets: Given below are the positions of planets for the month.  Please note –

  • The purpose of giving the positions of the planets in different constellations is to give you in a glance a general direction of planets in the sky and if a planet will be visible.  For example one can see that the sun is in the direction of Virgo constellation. Therefore, any planet in this direction would not be easily visible.
  • You may also note that the ‘actual’ position of the sun is quite different than that ones sun-sign indicates.
  • I nor my good friends believe that positions of planets can in anyway influence ones live, other than giving you viewing pleasure.

Sun remain in Virgo, the Virgin (Kanya) all through the month.

Mercury  (Budha) is in Virgo, the Virgin (Kanya) and moves to Libra, the Scale (Tula) on Oct 22nd and then remains in this constellation rest of the month. It is in inferior conjunction with the Sun on Oct 9.

Venus (Shukra) is in Leo, the Lion (Simha) and moves to Virgo, the Virgin (Kanya) on Oct 9 and then remains in this constellation rest of the month.

Mars (Mangal) too is in Leo, the Lion this month and moves to Virgo, the Virgin (Kanya) on Oct 12 and then remains in this constellation rest of the month.

Jupiter (Guru) is in Virgo, the Virgin (Kanya) and moves to Libra, the Scale (Tula) on Oct 15 .

Saturn (Shani) is in Ophiuchus, the Serpent-Bearer, (Sarpa-Dhar) and remains in this constellation all through the month.
